Yes, I really did it. I, the dedicated gym hater, signed the contract today. Somehow I think I won’t regret it this time. As I was already there, I hopped on the treadmill, too.

Wow! This was my fastest run ever! Still kind of lame, I know. But for me that’s a great success. It was really hard work – guess that’s why it’s called workout. Duh!
I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I actually like the treadmill. It forces my to run at a steady pace, which I usually don’t when I run outdoors. I’m sure this will help me a lot with my training.
So far, running on the treadmill is the only thing I’ve been doing at my new gym. I might add some strength training later so that I won’t get bored.
