Probably one of the quickest cookie recipes in my repertoire. No baking required! They’re technically not cookies, but still yummy, and I love to make a big batch every December.
Here’s what you need:
- 100 g dark (or milk or white) chocolate
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves (or less)
- 50 g corn flakes
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 tbsp nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, or others)
Carefully melt the chocolate, either over a double burner or in the microwave. Stir in the spices and the other ingredients. Mix thoroughly until everything is covered in chocolate. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Use two teaspoons to scoop little heaps onto the sheet. Let the Crossies sit at a cool place for a few hours until they’ve hardened up.
