Today I got soaked to the bone. This was my very first run in the rain ever! I always avoided running in bad weather and missed a few runs because of it. But today I learned that rain doesn’t hurt. Yeah, I’m so clever.

- Average pace: 11:00 min/mile
- Feeling: Soaked
Not bad for being dripping wet the whole time, right? I’m pleased.
PIPES and Pushups
The first week of Morgan‘s PIPES Challenge is already over, and I’m still going strong, following the 100 pushups program. I’ve noticed that those pushups don’t only work my arms, but also my core! I also believe that strengthening my core muscles is the reason why those side stitches have bothered me much less lately. That would be great! Let’s see what the second week will bring.
Now excuse me please, I need to bake some muffins.

You are way braver than I am … I heard a distant rumble of thunder this morning and canceled my run. Hopefully this bad weather will clear up by tomorrow … I’m itching to get outside in the sunshine!
